StreetWise - a range of teenage outdoor sports equipment, designed, manufactured and installed by Street Design Limited.
Since 1986, Street Design Limited has been manufacturing and supplying StreetWise teenage outdoor sports equipment. The comprehensive range consists of single sport products, multi-sport combination goals, teenage shelters and multi-sport games courts.
A wide range of sports is catered for, allowing the opportunity of including these facilities within your recreation area. All products are manufactured from mild steel and are hot dip galvanised, with an optional polyester powder coated.
StreetWise shelters can be specified within a ball court or goal wall, offering spectator viewing of the sports area. Alternatively, shelters can be used as a stand-alone product offering shade for young children or as a social gathering centre for teenagers.
You will find sports product designs ranging from football and basketball posts to innovative, versatile equipment designed to provide a focus for teenage activities - all manufactured to an uncompromising specification. Posts and goals can be supplied only, or can be supplied and installed. |

Outdoor Basketball Initiative
Street Design was one of the official suppliers, for the outdoor basketball initiative scheme, that was set up by the English Basketball Association. The scheme was to manufacture and install, galvanised mild steel basketball posts, in a government funded scheme throughout England. In total, ten thousand posts were manufactured and installed, over a five year period.

Junior basketball ring - 2600mm above ground level.
Senior basketball ring - 3050mm above ground level.
Netball ring - 3050mm above ground level.
Safety Rails: 48.3mm Ø mild steel circular hollow section x 3.2mm wall thickness.
Mesh Infill: 50 x 50mm mesh x 6mm Ø mild steel round.
Horizontal flat: 45 x 5mm mild steel flat.
Vertical flat: 45 x 10mm mild steel flat.
Fixing Lugs: 60 x 6mm mild steel flat x 100mm long.
Posts: 88.9mm Ø mild steel circular hollow section x 5mm wall thickness.

Installation
Street Design can offer you a complete installation service for the StreetWise outdoor sports equipment product range or alternatively give detailed installation instructions, should the installation service not be required.
With our own experienced installation engineers, we are able to offer a professional, efficient and competitive installation service. This includes a post-installation check, to ensure full compliance with PAS 30: 1998.
To complete the scheme, we can lay on-site court markings for basketball, cricket, football, netball, tennis and volleyball.
When requesting a price to supply our StreetWise outdoor sports products, simply ask for an additional cost for us to carry out the installation and to lay the appropriate court markings. |
