Street Design can supply a range of planter accessories to compliment your planters. They include: bench seating, inner “tower” planters, offering height and feature planting, tree anchors, self watering systems, personalisation, in the form of plaques and routed graphics, pergolas and trellis panels. They can be manufactured, to match the planters, in FSC treated softwood, FSC iroko hardwood, galvanised mild steel and stainless steel.

SEATING |

Benches can be manufactured in timber and metal, to complement your planters
Street design can manufacture a range of seating to be fitted to your planter. Various materials can be used including: FSC softwood, FSC iroko hardwood, galvanised mild steel and stainless steel. Bench seating can be straight or curved. The straight benches can consist of two wide bench slats or four narrow slats. The curved bench seating can have concentric or radial bench slats. The seating slats will be fixed to either mild steel brackets or ground supports, depending on your requirements. The seating can be finished to match your planter. Timber can be left natural or have three coats of water based stain. Mild steel can be galvanised or polyester powder coated, to the colour of your choice.

WATERING SYSTEM |

Watering System
Street Design can supply you with a basic watering system, helping to retain moisture at the bottom of the planter. The system consists of a base lining of 300 micron thick polythene that is fitted 100mm up from the base. This prevents the water draining through the planter. Sacks, containing hydroleca granules, are then placed on the polythene liner, to help retain the water and prevent the fill material drying out. To help with watering, a 50mm diameter plastic filler pipe is fitted to the inside of the planter. This ensures that the water is fed directly to the fill material at the bottom of the planter.

TOWERS |

Tall, narrow, inner Tower planters can be manufactured to complement your planters
Street Design can manufacture and supply you with matching inner planter towers for your planters, to create high level or feature planting. The towers are manufactured from the same materials and can have the same applied finish. Inner tower planters can be used for stepped or tiered planting, introduce high level planting or create a central feature. Tower planters can be used on their own to create tall, narrow planters which work particularly well as entrance planters. Towers can be manufactured from FSC treated softwood, FSC iroko hardwood, galvanised mild steel and stainless steel.

Illumination for Planters & Seats
Street Design can manufacture and supply discreet and safe lighting systems for many of their products. Eco-friendly low-voltage LED lighting provides a low-cost, low-maintenance solution for out-of-hours areas like roof gardens, car parks and shopping centres. Lighting systems can be automated, timed or remote controlled and powered by mains electricity, batteries or solar panels.

FSC timber and metal pergolas and trellis panels to complement your planters
Street Design can manufacture and supply a range of pergola structures and trellis panels to be fitted onto your planters. Pergolas can create shaded areas and encourage a canopy of planting. Trellis panels can add a design feature and help support climbing plants. Pergolas and trellis panels can be used together on a planter to create a complete landscape feature. Pergolas and trellis panels will be fitted to extended planter posts. The materials and finish can either match or contrast with the finish of the planter. The material can be timber, FSC treated softwood or FSC iroko hardwood, galvanised mild steel or stainless steel.

PLAQUES |

Stainless steel and aluminium plaques to personalise your planters
Street Design can supply you with plaques to personalise your planters. They can be supplied from stainless steel or aluminium sheet. The plaques will be photo etched, from the artwork you supply and infill painted to suit your requirements. The plaques will be bolted into a routed recess in the timber or a metal housing on an all metal planter.
